What is the definition of "cheap"?

Everytime I hear someone is good, they say they are "cheap". I don't understand, you play to win at all costs. There are many fighting games which for you to become a great player, you must play a style that casual players don't like playing (Popping infinites for example). If you keep calling people cheap just because they are kicking the can out of you, then this game is not for you.

I'll use way back when (2 years ago), when people who used Ryu were low punching and throw hadokens and then use shinkuu there after; wolver

Anyways,its true people call you cheap becuz your too good
or becuz u use Sent or cyc|ops (not that i use them i only use Sent at times).Basicilly,those people are n00bs that don't want to get beaten or don't wanna lose.But when they use the strategy,Then they get mad at you becuz u call them cheap =/

because you can play just like them.your opponent can pick sent and be cheap (as ppl say) but you can pick sent and play just like them :biggrin:

Tarkan while you are right. Some people are just really cheap or cheesy. Once I fought a fighter who only used cyc|ops' high beam. He got up to like 50 hits until he stopped. Then he tried to pull it off again. Another time I fought I wolver

yeah, elena is right, i fought i guy who did hp with cyc|ops until he got to level 3 and then did raging demon.........he beat me once and then i spanked his ass promptly and made him promise not to do it again.

I think there is a fine line betweet being cheap and just being good.........when I lose I just say "gg" and "ill get you next time"


I for one can tell the difference between skill and cheapness.
