Exactly how many SF games and SF characters are there??

I felt that rather than ask opinionated questions (Dan-haters!) a better kind of question could be asked. Just how many SF games were there in all? I began to lose track with all the different SF II versions.

Also, how many different characters have there been throughout SF history? Only somebody who either owns all the games or lives off these games would know the answers to these questions.

If you can, answer these questions without using search engines and counting up all the different games you see.

I dont like to count the EX series or the movie since they arent part of thestreet fighter timeline.

some of your characters are part of the not timline series, and you got those from video games.com
