an expert gamer idea for hardcore fans - listen up

alright ive been doing some reasearch on some of the 2d game that i have or play at the arcade and on here and on of the things that i notice is that on the X-men vs. street fighter arcade game didnt have a mode where you could make your level bar on the bottom of the screen disppear for those hardcore fans that wanted more.I was just wondering if this is a good idea to make a mode where you couldnt see the bar for levels on doing your supers. It may be pretty interesting.

Nah. It's the Supers system that adds a little more depth to the fights. The game really wouldn't work without them, I think...

Instead, why not simply slow down the buildup of the guage? It'd force players to be mor econamical with their playing, and it could make things more interesting, in my opinion.
