XvsSF on dreamcast - .. yeah, THIS online version

last night, zing79 (@least i hope it was zing, i can't remmemba much from last night...)

anyway... zing told me that he knows someone who was able to run THIS version of XvsSF (using Lin(s)ux or sometin) on his Dreamcast system... fullscreen... using the controller and everyfin !!!

anyone else know ANYTHING about this ?? how it is done ?? can it be done ??? ... this is pretty crazy stuff if u ask me :biggrin:

The funny thing is he only did that so he could say he did that. He has no interest in the game, and he promptly deleted it as soon as he finished telling me about it..

I think alot of you are under the impression he did a shit load of work for this..

you have to remember Dreamcast has an HD, and supports the use of operating systems...Isn't the dreamcast running of windows CE or something? I don't see why you can't just download shockwave and visit this website and play the game if you already own a dreamcast (Isn't this what Sega had in mind when they released the thing?)

I still don't know what he did, but I am going to ask him when I see him why he didn't just use the windows CE that came with it.

but I'm pretty sure he didn't write code for the thing (at least I hope he wouldn't be stupid enough to write the code and then kill it :biggrin

Some Can do an some dont know how to do this hmm let me tell you this. Ok They say Dreamcast play online kind of cool but. I dunno about the Xmvss online dreamcast verson

But There allway's way' to do, But it's all good about it i never played the dreamcast online but i will try it
