Man, I came back to this site after 6 months, and a few days later, the site needs to be shut down.

Even if we did take down all the Marvel characters, TMy still wouldn't have too much motiviation to do it. He put it in extra time and effort just for there to be Marvel characters. I remember in that interview, he said his heart was always in Marvel - there could have been 8 SF characters if this was just an SF site, but he tried to keep Marvel alive, and made it X-men vs SF, and Marvel paid him back in their own "special way".

I don't really understand why Marvel really did this, because TMy wasn't actually profitting on this in any way, he had trouble keeping the site going as it is, with the massive bandwith and all, and the general costs of keeping a site going.

Maybe, (for now), he can change the characters (just the skin), and make all the marvel names censored (ie spider-man becomes *****-***), and then technically it would be all fine and legal, even though we would all know it was really marvel.

I'm just mostly sorry for TMy, after working so hard to keep this site going, and then have it all thrown back in his face like this. I don't want to keep going as I'm sure TMy is ready to kill, and each time he's reminded of his losses only adds fuel to the fire, so I'd just like to thank TMy for all the great times you've given all the fighters, and bringing us all together in this community.

Theres nothing more that TMyApp can do but bitch at Marvel, which still prolly wont help. I tried also. I sent an email to Eli Bard tellin him how Marvel should consider having this site reopened.

EVERYONE WHO EMAILS HIM - Dont Flame him nor Marvel cuz thats not going to do anything but make them mad. Just express your feeling on how you will miss the site and how you ruined our running grounds on the internet.

I won't forget about this wonderful site. I still have plenty of screenshots for memories...

Aw damn! I was planning to return for Akuma. Damn! Anyway I'm going to do suggestions(which should be familiar by now)

1.E-mail Marvel and convince them to at LEAST let us play our site.
2.Do Capcom Vs. SNK(All the other companies suck and MK is a bad idea)
3.Make and all new site that features the Capcom characters that appeared in Xmvsf to MvC.
4.Use SNK characters only
5.Have people program their own characters(Good, but it won't happen)
