Rankings - How exactly do you get more stars?

I want to know how you get more stars and higher in rank. I know it has to do with you post cound but total posts or your average. And how much does it have to be.

Oh you mean the stars under your Avatar umm why you wanna go up in rank and i think it goes up in 50's but dont go spamming just to get another star please...

I'm just tired of ppl yelling at me because im a ####ie to this forum. By the way y does it filter out that word.

Because people Get offended By it,even though it means you are new to this game. But hey some people take it the wrong way and think your calling them sh*t. ???
