Skies of arcadia - 8.75/10 for sure !

well, i've been spending the whole day playing it...
didn't have time recently to play it.
but after 52 hours and 52 minutes of play, i'm still not over with the game !

i'm on second CD out of TWO and i still have the joy of playing it !
was worth the 30$ to have it original !

there is one thing i'm dispointed...
the story is too basic. tho its good, it is too easy to know what's coming before it happens !
like i already knew the silvites had called the very first destruction on the world.
all that before i actually heard in the game.
well, it wasn'T known at first, but when i heard the silvites left arcadia (not earth) for the silver shrine, i immediately knew it was too good to be true, i was sure that they were the one who called on the rains of destruction !

as i continues on with the game, it appeared to be exactly like i imagined it...
there are surprises in the game, but story wise, its all too obvious !
but the important matter is...

THE GAME'S AWESOME !!!!!!!!!

GAMEPLAY = 9
SOUNDS = 8 (if there was much more voice acting it would be way better)
GRAPHICS = 9 (top notch, they are awesome and i like the anime style given to them)
CONTROLS = 9 (awesomely responsives, tho the camera gets mixed up sometimes)

TOTAL = 8.75 / 10

BTW: i know its an old DREAMCAST game, but i got it like a month ago and i'm glad to have bought him... its an awesome game in itself. and i must say that not much RPGs those times keeps me playing ! but this one does bring me the same joy i had with other RPG on other consoles ! namely, chrono trigger, legend of dragoon and legend of mana !

if only all company would take the time to make such games, the gaming world would be better !
anyway... what do you think of this game ?
if you own a DREAMCAST that is !

yeah that game was ok, but my favorite dreamcast RPG is Phantasy star online. If you got some free time you should check it out on dreamcast or gamecube.

got for chrismas !
that's a good game yeah, but i like RPGs that uses swords and magic and old civilisations better !
tho it has swords and magic also, it uses too much technology and fighting with guns seems even better then fighting barehanded or with a beam saber !

anyway... so many RPGs on DC, i thought it would be ACTION only, but it seems i was wrong !

u have 2 pay 4 it 2....

and that game looks pretty good...shenmue...is a good rpg aswell.

from the beginning of 2003 the sonic team server of PSO for DC was suppose to have been FREE...
but since the GC internet addon gets delayed and the PSO game for GC is coming later this year, then the servers on SONIC TEAM are still payed accounts, but the DC servers will get shut downed after a while anyway !

and you gotta know that DC users will not be able to play with GC users !
they will be completely different servers !

i really dont like rpgs that much. but there is 1 rpg that i liked and fell in love with. LEGEND OF DRAGOON. that game kicked ass with the combos and the dragoon armor. the magic was just awsome. i cant wait till they finish legend of dragoon 2 for the ps2 cause id get it.
