I think that this would bring out some of the technique in some fighters
"NEW PEOPLE" if there werent any supers. It will give them a chance to practice and rely on pure skill rather than just waiting for the right moment to use the super and get the quick win. This can be optional for the person who hosts the games or for the person gives or recieves the challenge in the chat room. Click on the person u want to fight against, then it will say something before your opponent gets your challenge like supers or no supers, yes or no or no something like that. I just thought that this was a good idea

I'm not sure if that would be possible. If it is I really doubt TMy will do it. He has enough work to do as it is

great in theory, not sure if it would work in reality...Ive noticed that supers seem to synch the game better; right after the super, the lag is the lowest. also, supers go through MUCH more often than normal moves.
Nevertheless, if it can be done, then I completely agree. Not a bad feature to have. Edited By viper2040 on May 03 2003 at 03:52

Uh.. just a guess..
I think it'd be kinda hard (Alot of work) for TMyApp to do that.. You know how he feels about excess work :biggrin: |

personally i think its a great idea..since supers are the only things i cant block..lol...so the players wil rely more on kicks and projectiles in fights...

** ADVANTAGE **
- yeah, it will make the game even better as those hadoken happy players will be reduced to a minimum considering there won't be supers to boost to ! - i rather love a good clean HAND-2-HAND fight then a super who the #### blast better then the other slug fest ! - brings another mode of play ! ** DISADVANTAGE ** - supers were made to take a little more time before getting out, because the game was synching at the same time, thus reducing the lag to zero during the time the super hapenned. - what would be an MvsSF without supers while the whole concept is based on tag team supers ? - games would be a little too long for me, also, that super can save your life at some point, while a single punch can be countered easily. ** OVERALL ** good mode of play to implement, but i wouldn't be playing it anyway !

I like this idea.
The option to turn off supers and possibly specials in a hosted game would be cool...It'd teach players that there is more to this game than just the Supers and Projectiles. Excelent suggestion man. Edited By nosoul4evr on May 11 2003 at 04:18
