Male and female, which is the more dominant sex?

Today I've been pondering Which is supposed to be the higher order. By the way, I'm a feminist, which means I support women should have the same rights as men.


Let's look at other species. They use an order in which the male is the dominant. Except for spiders, the female is the dominant.

Now another reason. The way how species, lets say humans for an example. The human male is usually "on" the human female. The human male uses it's penis and inserts it's penis inside the females anus, or vagina. There is no way that the female could be on the male, and have "right sex" unless the male was on a chair, and the female was humping the male, but let's not inculding chairs, just the floor.

Also... the human male determines what gener the child will be, not the female, the female just gives birth....

Now let's say we were living say... 20,000 years ago. When the baby was born, the female would have to feed it using it's breasts(that's what the most baby feeding was). The man would go off to hunt and find whatever he could, so they will eat that animal he finds by dinner.

Now you might say, why can't the female hunt, and the male feed the baby? Well if the woman hunted, how would the baby get food(saying that there was no food left). The baby would starve and die, so the female is usually in the shelter feeding, and protecting it's baby while the male hunts for food, that goes for the same with most species, except spiders, and birds.

Another one of my theories, but this could easily be disproven is. Whenever human males and human females work out, the human seems to be more built(or robust as scientists say...). Most likely because the male would protect the female. And yes I know there's those women body builders that are physically robust... but let's not count them, since there are so few in the world.

And as of 10,000 years ago what we call order has been being developed, in which there are rules, or laws. Like marriage, etc... the leader is always the male, there is never a female leader, this still happens today, even in the United Stated, but people don't realise that since the United States is a "free country".

I think Man is the suPerior sPecie. Because if you look at it, in ANY business (that's for both sexes), there are always more men, and men always do more work. And don't even give me the bull$hit that Women don't get enough chances, they have all the oPPurtunites...

for my part, MALE is dominant in some ways, the female is dominant in the others !

its the "MANTIS something..." just remembered half of the name. you know that insect that once it had sexe with the male it kills it and feed on him !

that insect is about 1-2 inches long and is one hell of a killer !

Actually, theres more females in the world than males. a 52 to 48% ratio.

Your right Karma that females, and males have different attributes which their better at, for instance, females have the tendancy to live longer than males.

But what I mean in this topic is, if there was a clan of about 10 people, the male(S) would be the leader of the clan, since they are usually taken to be stronger, and can protect their loved ones. What can a pregnant female do if the female is being attacked by a tiger? It's just like Primates. The leader is ALWAYS a male that is robust, and at least 50% bigger than the female primates.

Also, females spiders are more dominant than males. When they both mate, and the baby is born, the female kills the male to feed the baby, yes some species have the female being the more dominant, but it gets outnumbered by how many species are male dominated.

By the way, there are four tribes that have the female more dominant than the male. Basically they have this land which is deserted, and the they get a man(they can have as many as they want). They get married, and the woman chooses for which man to have sex with, and which man will father the baby. If the baby is a boy, the boy will stay until he is of puberty, then leave the family, if it's a girl, then the girl will inherit the land when the mom passes away. The females make the decisions, the males are treated as slaves.

Oooh...I like that idea.
But I'm afraid in america the men are more dominent.
Why you ask am i saying this and I'm a girl? Well because it is true if there were 3 women trying out for a job and they knew all the stuff about that job. In some jobs they would try to find as many exucuses to not hire us. But then again sometimes the men don't have women on there jobs because their wife told them not to and they are scared of getting a divorce so then dont pick the woman. Instead they pick a man. So its really all how you look at it. And i change my answer to they are both kind of the same. In power in america. But not in those other countries such as China and in some of africa.

but good point tark...i believe the male is more dominant because women seem to step down to the men. (some of the men in the world are druggies and beat thier women and this could be a good reason) and the men just seem to take more charge....hmmmm makes ya think
