I need some tips - On making topics.....

I haven't been on much these past few months on sfo and I need tips on how to make good attractive topics but my head is completely blank.......Could someone give tips on how to make cool and successful topics.

Make a catchy title..and dont post topics in R.I. because the n00bs shall come and claim it as their n00b-hut.
