Well, Tantum here, and i'd just like to say that since Tarkan has gotten to the finals in a false way, i refuse to play against him... and i resign from the tournament.

I am sorry for doubting you Tantum and you are right. How does a match of Zing79 vs. Ramziel turn into the winner being TarkanX?? They are be very odd. Conspiracy is what I say. Truly it should be Ramziel or Zing79 vs. Tantum and if neither could play then Tantum should be the Champ.

I beat Ramziel, and was supposed to play in the finals, but on a stupid technicallity TarkanX got DQ'ed. I wasn't about to change the rules if Tantum didn't want me too...

HOWEVER..

I can do whatever I want with my spot in the finals. I decided to fight TarkanX for it, and he beat me...

Thats how he ended up there.

If you dont want to fight him thats your choice Tantum.
Im not going to force you to fight (I dont have that kind of power :biggrin.
But TarkanX isn't getting off that easily either. He will have to earn that Championship.

Its funny that you did this Tantum, because all that will happen is that I'll insert myself into the finals and fight him. It'll be as if you had lost to him.

Not cool man...You got to the finals, and then you just threw in the towel. I said this to you before, and I'll say it again. I did not want my tournament win to be clouded by the fact that TarkanX got disqualified for sending an email 2 hrs late. I thought you would see it the same way.

you cant just change the rules of the tournament mid tournament..... there is no rule that says you can choose to fight someone for your spot in the finals

cause if that much was true, i'd say put Stinkyman in my spot, the guy who always get high score cause of his 14.4k modem... dude, that is bullshit, and i bet Cyris, and TMy would agree... and dont say, its not up to them, cause its an official tournament, and someone is getting an official prize, you cant change rules at the finals.

it seems to me that the problem is...did TarkanX send his e-mail 2 hrs late?or did Zing79 check his E-mail 2 hr's late...if Tarks e-mail was sent 2hr's late then he should have been DQ'd,and not allowed to enter the Tournament...failure to comply with Tournament Rules..(no offense Tark).

Now if Zing received the mail 2 hr's late...but the mail was dated in time for the dead line..then by all means TarkanX should be allowed to fight in the tourny...Does TmyApp have copies of all the e-mail received for the tournament?That could be a big deciding factor in this issue...his officail judgement is terribly needed on this topic

now if TarkanX's e-amil was sent late...then all his matchs where illegal...and the whole Tourny was for not....and no prize should be given out..and the Tournament should be rescheduled for a later date.

Tantum...quiting shows no honor...you are an exceptional fighter....fight to the end regard less of the odds or situation..you have been dealt an odd hand...but you still have a chance for a unique prize...why quit?

Tantum I didn't change a single rule my friend
TarkanX WAS disqualified as per the rules, and you advanced into the finals.

HOWEVER...take note of the last rule that says any other disputes will be mediated by me. That rule was inserted for situations just like this. I CANNOT, nor did I try and change the rules to make you fight TarkanX. I went by exactly what they said. He was late with his email, and you refused to fight him as a result. The rules stated I had to DQ him, and I did exactly that.

But that last rule allows me to do EXACTLY what I did with my tournament spot.

I made a judgement call with TarkanX. He explained his situation to me, and I reacted accordingly.

But if you feel that TMyApp, and Lordcyris will agree with you, then post it in the problems forum where I know TMyApp will see it. Make sure you quote this message, and post your point. IF they agree with you, I will side with what you say.

zing is the main man here and what he does is out of my hands i wouldnt jump into his turf like that it wouldnt be right. but i do have an opinion (hehe i have many)

but the point is out of what i have read zing did not alter the rules for his personal gain he runs the show hes the man all i can say

And honestly Tantum, your not looking at this from my perspective..

I *RUN* this tournament. You don't think it would look rather fishy that I made it to the finals, and then *I* disqualified TarkanX? (one of the few players who can actually play with me)

I have to keep everybody happy, not just you my friend. I have a reputation to watch out for. I can't just get rid of TarkanX because he sent you an email 2 hrs late (especially since I knew he couldn't get near his comp until he sent you that email). There's no way ppl would stand for that. Hes to big a figure in this game for that to just be excepted.

I had to make a decision that was fair to the both of you, and the ppl who play this game. I made that decision at my own expense. If anyone should be angry its me. Im the one you earned his way to the finals only to have to give it up.

Anyway....you have 2 choices.
I expect you both to play your match by the end of today.
If you refuse to play him, then I'll just simple eliminate you.

Its your choice my man...but honestly just play him and take your chances :biggrin:
