Are you using the America Online browser?
Do you keep getting the, "You are using an out of date version of the game." messege every time you try and play SFO? Do you keep pressing the F5 button to refresh your browser...but nothing happens. Wanna know how to get the latest and greatest version of SFO while using the America Online browser interface? Simple...You will need to dump your temporary internet files. On your Windows Task Bar goto: Start / Programs / America Online / AOL System Information / A new window will appear. Across the top of the window will be a row of Tabs. Select "Utilities" You will see a button there labled: "Clear Browser Cache" Click it. Then click the "Close" button in the lower right corner of the window. Then restart Street Fighter Online. ....Happy Gaming. ![]() Edited By nosoul4evr on Aug. 03 2004 at 08:36

Well, I use AOL... I had this problem, but fixed it in a different way...
1. Click SETTINGS and click the tab "Essesntials... 2. Then, click on Internet [Web] Options... 3. A page should've come up, go to where it says "Temporary Internet Files"... 4. Click on Delete Cookies, -This just makes SFO not to autoload as it usually does when you have loaded the game before... Thats what maybe causing your problem... NOTICE: I am NOT talking about the Download version of SFO... 5. Restart SFO maybe It'll start giving you the "NEW" version of the game  This is if you have the same problem with getting the new update of SFO from 4/7/04... If you are using Internet Explorer.
When in the game...try pressing the F5 button. this 'should' cause you to reload the game...wich 'should' give you the updated version. If you cant get into the game at all, or pressing the F5 doesnt work... 1) Go to http://streetfighteronline.com 2) At the top of your browser click Tools then select Internet Options from the drop down list. 3) A new window will appear with a row of tabs across the top. Select General and in the section labled Temporary Internet Files click the Delete Files button. 4) Click ok 5) Start up the game. (mirrored version) NOTE: So you dont have to load the game everytime you go to play. 1)Go to "Tools" at the top of your browser. 2)Select "Internet Options". 3)A new window will open, there you'll see a section called "Temporary Internet Files". Press the "Settings" button. 4)A new window will open, where it says: "check for newer versions of stored pages?" That should be set to "Automatically" or "Never". 5)If it is set to "Automatically" and your browser still makes you download the game every time you try to play SFO, then change the setting to "Never". 6)At the bottom of the same window you'll see a slider for the "Amount of disk space to use?" Make sure that is set to 100mb+ through 200mb+ 7)Click "OK" and you'r done. If your playing the downloadable version of the game and need to update. Simply goto http://streetfighteronline.com/download.htm Read and follow the instructions...simple as that. Make sure to read the http://streetfighteronline.com/faq/ as well. It will answer 99.99% of all problems one might encounter. Edited By nosoul4evr on Aug. 03 2004 at 08:43
