Actually, you moron, the RUSSIANS started it when they supplied weapons to North Vietnam to help them overthrow the democratic South Vietnam. The US went in to retaliate, to protect a democratic country. The US never started the war, you twit.

and when we fought in Vietnam, we had NO HIDDEN agendas. The ENTIRE WORLD was aware of the Cold War. The ENTIRE WORLD was aware that we were in an arms race. It's not a "hidden agenda" if the rest of the world knows about it.
