LAN is when you pass thru the network to get internet !

example:
internet comp2 you
** ** **
**<---- **<----**

you see, you pass thru comp2 and then to the computer that has internet. that computer send back the line thru comp2 which sends it to you. that is a LAN connection. it just means you pass thru other computers to have internet !

well, guys that are above 5mb sec are probably on T1 lines !
thats a lot of speed you got there kids !
