some kids at my age listen to hardcore rock w/o knowing that the chords they use are only just being wacked or jammed.
some just dont care but aslong as they can shout and have those weird noises of the guitar, and jumping styles, that's it. there is really no rythm in shouting. unless if you have hear van helen (sorry for the spelling) metallica, bon jovi, etc,. that's what is advisable to listen.
