DARKMasterX: then if you think saying we are vets because we have been there for more then one year is not FAIR ! then you have to look in your dictionnary about the word VETERAN.

definition:
THIS SOLDIER IS A VETERAN, this soldier is a veteran because he has been in the war for about 10 years and have successfully came out of it alive !

that's the description of a SOLIDER in the dictionnary !

for how long as i have been knowing my history !
i have never seen any NEW BORN baby becoming a veteran.
so yes, the WORD VETERAN is actually determined by HOW LONG AND HOW HEROIC you have been !

that's how the word is used in the dictionnary !

fair or not, that's the OFFICIAL description of it !
i think we'll keep this in mind while selecting who in or not !
