I don't miss the old days. I mean, come on! As life goes on, you gain more memories, more emotions, and definitely more love. It's a never ending process. Although there is pain a lot of the time, we can't let that stop us and make us think things like "I wish everything was like in the good ol' days.." or "The good old days were much better than this." . Allowing yourselves to think like that triggers memories, happy and sad, and also make you think things like "I should have done this..", etc. The only time you should look to the past is when your heart truly desires it.
