No, Joe... I was implying the fact that maybe some alien race from a billion years ago passed earth by, that's possible.
When I said no, they haven't come here yet, I meant in documented history. Sorry for not clarifying that
Not OFFICIALLY in documented history

As for the Gorilla theory, that makes no sense. Gorillas have no concept of science at all. It's not the same as comparing educated humans to aliens. and how the hell do you even know that any alien race is smarter than us? Sadly it's possible we are the form of life with the highest intelligence so far.
That's what I'm talking about. Maybe the aliens look on us as we look on gorillas. Sure, we have a lot in common with them (our DNA is similar, they are able to use simple tools, etc). But give them our technology and they can't figure it out. What I was saying was, maybe we're much too primitive to understand alien technology. It IS possible for aliens to have advanced that far

60 million years? Homo Sapiens have been around for less than 1 million years.
i'm not just talking about Homo Sapiens. I'm also talking about Homo Erectus, who until recently was considered the earliest form of "human" intelligence. They were the first primates to begin walking upright (eg, erect, thus producing their name), and therefore can be considered human (but not the exact same genotype)

And there's no f'ing way the government could keep any large defense project a secret for so long, and you know it!
No, I don't know it, nor do I have to admit it. The US government (this is the only thing I can credit them with) is EXTREMELY good at hiding the truth from the rest of the world. It is indeedly possible that the US govt can EVEN keep a defense project against an alien invasion secret from us.

Radio Waves- If they don't use them anymore, that doesnt mean we can't detect them.
I mean, what if the last of their radio waves passed by earth BEFORE we developed the technology to detect them?

there has been many theories concerning extra-terrestrial life and a grid/graph type thing has been made to classify intelligence. i forgot what it was called but on the graph, humans are considered quite "dumb" on the graph.
True. In pure IQ, humans are way up the chart, but in pure intelligence (ie, what to do in this situation, eg), human beings aren't as smart. Dolphins have more intelligence than us, their brains are more developed. Some of the larger specie of the cat family are more intelligent than us: they are able to detect the EXACT moment to strike at their prey without causing their prey to be notified of their presence.
And if simple animals are more intelligent than humans, I'm sure that aliens consider us "simple". For all we know, aliens could be off the chart in intelligence
