nantuko: i think vegeta and goku are much approching the 40th and there is a fact that vegeta is 7 year older then goku !

yes goten is born one year after trunks.
you don't actually knowing the age of those characters as their age isn't really mentionned in the serie.
thus making this an incrdible question indeed, but i think there is not much of an answer who could be done.
it is just like those power levels thing.
