have you ever considered that people who tripple post didn't do it necessarely on purpose ?
example:
I (i already did that mistake lots of time at the start) am accustomed to the BACK button who comes with the navigator ! so when i made a mistake about my post, i just BACK and edit the thing then resend again ! it's almost what EVERY person who don't know a forum (like me about a year ago) do every time to made a mistake or forgot to mention one thing !
next:
it's not because people TALK much that they necessarly want their post up and spam just for that purpose, you are GENERALIZING on things that do not are like that that much ! meaning that there are very few people who actually does this !
next:
they put a topic like 3 or 4 times in a row ?
have you ever notice how their topic first get off the first page before they does the second one ? have you ever thought that they probably just aren't knowing that the forum is set to NOT SHOW topic older then a WEEK ? they can probably don't know that and think their topic is now gone, so they do another one !
i say, lets give a chance to those by LEARNING em how a forum work ! cause if we had those rules you mentionned when i joined the forum (i NEVER touched a forum in my entire life before that day, and i'm serious) then i would already be banned for sure by now !

this could be the solution to the major problem, but it wouldn't solve it if the person still doesn't LEARN the way of doing things !
