Restaurant
They finally landed in front of a restaurant called the London Heart. Roll and Brooklyn looked at all the rich people inside, took a deep breath, an entered. If anything was going on, it stopped, because everyone immediately went to stare at Brooklyn. Roll looked at everyone and knew what was going on. Suddenly, she began to yell at them furiously. So furiously, in fact, that everyone went to their normal lives quickly. Sighing in relief, Brooklyn approached the waiter that was standing around waiting to seat people. Roll looked at the waiter. His hair was neat and sleek, he wore a tuxedo, and his name tag said Josh. "Hello there, madam. Will you be dining alone tonight?" said Josh with an english accent. Brooklyn's eye twitched, as he put his hand on Roll's shoulder. "She's with me... Josh... so it a table for two. Do the math." said Brooklyn in a very impatient tone. Roll smiled as they were led down to their tables by Josh. On the way, Brooklyn and Roll marveled at the sight of the restaurant. It was covered in Crystal, Diamond, Glass Chandelier's, gold, silver, and everything was glimmering. They had very nice portraits that looked very expensive, especially the one of the woman which looked a lot like the Mona Lisa. When they were brought to their table, the first thing Brooklyn noticed was that they were away from everyone else. Before he could say anything about this, Roll immediately said "This is great! Now I won't have to worry about the other people listening into our conversations so much!" which made Brooklyn slightly happier as he sat down. The waiter finally left them, and then Roll picked up her menu. Everything was FANCY! She was surprised that there was a "kid section" without any finger foods in it. All she saw was Chicken breast, Fish, Soup, Salad, beef, steak, beef-steak, and duck. "Hey, Brooklyn, did you notice that they don't have any... normal food on here?" said Roll. Brooklyn blinked. He thought she would've wanted one of those fancy dinners. He wouldn't have come here if she wouldn't like it, especially since he didn't either. "Yeah, I saw. Very different isn't it?" sad Brooklyn calmly. Roll frowned. "You'd think they could at least have hamburgers in there. But no... they don't know what a lot of people like! Well, I say that we order what we like, no matter what." said Roll grudgingly. Brooklyn grinned devilishly. "Is that a challenge? If so what are you having? I'm having a.."
""Hamburger with French fries and a coke!"" they both said at the same time. They looked at each other astonished, and by the time the waiter came back to them, they were having a staring contest. "May I take your order now?" said Josh. Roll ended the staring contest, and they both said at the same time "Hamburger with French Fries and coke!" resulting in a very confused waiter. "I don't believe we have that on our menu." he said. "We know. But if you're chef can't cook a measily hamburger, then I don't know if any of the food on this menu is good to eat." said Brooklyn. The waiter went red in the face, picked up the menu's, and went straight to the chef with their order. Then, suddenly, Roll and Brooklyn Burst into a hearty laughter which attracted the eyes of the entire restaurant to them again, which made the laughing stop. After looking at the whole restaurant, they burst into laughter again, making every person in the restaurant go red in the face. After they stopped laughing, they began to talk about the past, about how Nanaki was doing, and about what the chef was doing to their food.

Delicious Intents

While Brooklyn and Roll were talking, the waiter finally arrived with their orders. Everything looked ok to Roll and Brooklyn, and Roll lifted her bun to add condiments to it, and she just burst out laughing hysterically. Brooklyn looked at her, and lifted his bun and began to laugh as well. They had steaks in between the buns, and it was just too funny to not laugh at. The waiter himself had to hold back some laughter, and when the chef came, Roll explained what he did wrong, and what to do to cook a hamburger. The chef asked, though, if they could at least try the "steak-er". It would be free of charge, and he was dying to know if it was good. Roll took the first bite, and said it was ok, and Brooklyn thought it was great. But they waited for their hamburgers in order to give the chef a chance to make up for his good mistake. The chef returned and personally delivered the hamburgers. They looked perfect, and the fries were perfect too. Brooklyn took the first bite, and gave the thumbs up to the chef who smiled, but frowned when he saw Roll take a bite and show a non-emotional face. She thought about it for a moment or two, just to let the suspense crawl on the chef, when finally he asked if she liked it or not. Roll nodded with a yes, and the chef said "I have a new specialty now!". He left after saying goodbye to Roll and Brooklyn, shaking their hands, and thanking them. After he left, Roll continued eating along with Brooklyn. "I hope you enjoy the food. I want this to be the best dinner you've ever had in your life." said Brooklyn. Roll giggled. "You'd be surprised how much better it is than that! I'm here with my favorite gargoyle, who's dating me, and I'm in a fancy restaurant eating finger foods and drinking sprite while laughing and talking to the one person I can relate to! This is like a gift from the heavens!" said Roll happily. Brooklyn blushed, and said nothing more until he finished his dinner.

Enbu no Enpuku

When they finally finished dinner, they noticed that there was a dance floor. They ooked at everyone in the room. They were either eating, or looking at the dance floor, and either way, no one was dancing. The orchestra that was playing music in the background was looking glum. Everything was wierd to Roll, and she wondered why no one was dancing. Then, imagining herself dancing with Brooklyn, she knew why! They were embarressed to let anyone see them dance.... either that, or they don't want to scuff their expensive shoes. All Roll knew, was that she wanted to dance so badly. Brooklyn looked at her while she was looking at the dance floor. He looked where she was looking, thought, and understood everything. He got up, and walked to the orchestra without saying anything to Roll. He produced something green from underneath his belt, and the band conductor's eyes suddenly widened. Roll grew confused as the whole orchestra stopped playing and started taking out the music from within a gold suitcase. Stranger still, they were now in proper playing etiquette, and Brooklyn walked back to Roll. "May I have this dance?" asked Brooklyn, bowing. Roll was taken aback once again. This was a dream come true. "Of course! I'd love to! Oh Brooklyn..." said Roll blushing, and Brooklyn took her hand, and they walked to the dance floor. Brooklyn winked at the conductor, who smiled and nodded, and then began to direct. Brooklyn and Roll began to dance. They were dancing in an old fashioned waltz. As they began to twirl around, someone looked in from outside at them. Roll was spun slowly around, as Brooklyn continued to dance beautifully. Roll kept looking at Brooklyn as they danced, and as she went around in circles, she fell into a deeper love than she was in before. Brooklyn, at this point couldn't love Roll anymore than he already did. They danced wonderfully together, as the restaurant watched, and the orchestra played beautiful music that was never heard before. At the point where everyone was humming (near the end) Roll's face went closer to Brooklyn's, until they finally kissed. They stayed embraced and in that kiss until the end of the song. They finally let go of the kiss when people started to clap. After taking a seat, Brooklyn paid the bill ($125.69) and he left with Roll, holding her close to himself. He finally picked her up and flew to the tower. Goliath looked at himself while standing at the window, hidden from sight. He couldn't believe he couldn't trust Brooklyn. What's more, he couldn't believe that Brooklyn was more romantic with Roll than he himself was romantic with Elisa. He finally flew back to the tower, pondering what to do for Elisa in return for her love.

The final word

When Brooklyn landed, he immediately noticed everyone was watching them. The other gargoyles looked from Brooklyn to Roll, with curiosity in their eyes. The sun was about to rise, and Goliath finally came back. Brooklyn jumped onto his pedestal, and got into a stance. Then, from out of no where, Roll jumped up and hugged him. Brooklyn hugged her back, wrapped his wings around her affectionately, and kissed her lips. They stayed in that kiss as everyone took their stances and looked their way. The kiss kept going until the sun just came up in which time, Roll jumped away to let Brooklyn sleep. Then, Roll sat against Brooklyn's pedestal, and finally fell asleep with a smile.
