Epilogue--------------------------
It's been a month since the battle with Balkar's son. Everything was back to normal, whatever normal was. Despite the battle, no one really changed that much. Roll was still cute and kind, Red XIII was still a smart lion, and Brooklyn was still a gargoyle with attitude. Everyone went about their normal lives, and some people left the group. Nanaki left eventually to return to Cosmo Canyon and everyone heard he got there safely, and when he did, he found a mate. The rest, only angels know. SSJKarma became a karate master and created his own dojo. He was doing really well with himself, and probably couldn't do anything else for a living as well as this. DarkPiccolo was eventually revived by someone else in another world, somewhere in space. He went there instead of earth, though, and nobody heard from him again. Sometimes at night though, you can see large flashes of light in the sky, and some people can only wonder what it was. KHCloud was buried in the cemetery where he was visited by Roll everyday. KHCloud's grave area wasn't really gloomy, but thanks to Roll, it was kind of cheerful. Lot's of plants were growing around KHcloud - Trees, flowers, bushes, everything KHCloud would've enjoyed seeing had he been alive. Lexington, Broadway, Goliath, Hudson, Brooklyn, and (sometimes) Bronx went on patrols around the city of Manhatten. They found the usual crime or two, and came back to the tower with injuries at the rarest times. It was then, when Roll's self-appointed job came to use as a medical assistant. She wrapped up the wound with a cloth filled with magic, and the wound would heal. This was Roll's only un-official job, and was never paid for it, but was always thanked. Roll was given a place to sleep in the tower, since renting a house would be too expensive for her to get.
Presently...
Now that everything was back to normal, the Gargoyles kept their eye on the town for everything wrong, but Brooklyn had his eye on a girl. It was un-known to the others, but Brooklyn, Lexington, and Broadway spent their last few nights talking about girls. They would say what their perfect girl would be like - the voice, looks, height, interest, intellegence, fashion sense, personality, everything. Everyone had a dream-girl that was almost impossible to find, except Brooklyn who always described Roll. He after each talk, Brooklyn would spend his time with Roll, talking, joking, or just keeping her company and watching her magic. 'Soon' he thought, 'I will ask her soon.' Over the next few nights, Brooklyn spent a lot of time away from home, and usually just barely made it in time for the sunrise. During those nights, Roll spent her time with her magic, and dreamed dreams, while thinking where Brooklyn was. She missed his company, and everyone else could tell, because Roll eventually waited outside on the balcony. She would look into the sky, while sitting on one of the pillars, waiting silently for Brooklyn to come home. When he did come home, he was greeted in the normal "Hello!". Brooklyn, though, found a job, and was working to earn some money for resaons unknown. It had only been a week when he collected his first pay, $790.56, which was very good considering he being a Gargoyle and him also only working for a week. No one knew about the money except for him and Lexington. They spoke about what Brooklyn wanted to do with that money, since many likings and uses came to mind that involved money. Brooklyn finally told Lexington what the money was for, and Lexington was appalled. He never would've believed it, had he not heard it from Brooklyn himself. Finally after recovering his composure, Lexington looked at Brooklyn again. "I dunno Brooklyn, I think she's out of your league." said Lexington. Brooklyn grinned and looked at Lexington. "Yeah? Well, I have to at least try. If she doesn't accept, then you can make fun of me all you want." Said Brooklyn. Lexington frowned, but listened to Brooklyn's plans. He heard all of the places Brooklyn wanted to go to, what he wanted to do, when, why, and how. It all sounded pretty impressive to Lexington, and he was about to ask how he was going to pay for it, when he remembered the $790.56 Brooklyn had. They both sighed but for different reasons. It was now ten minutes till sunrise. Brooklyn started off to ask Roll something very unique. He stopped and looked back at Lexington who nodded and encouraged him to go on with it. Lexington smiled, when Brooklyn finally made it to Roll.
Roll.... I got's to ask you something....
Roll was sitting in her spot with a lot of pots around her. They were all flower pots, but they had no flowers in them. Brooklyn examined each one, and noticed that each pot had some Kanji on them, and though he couldn't read Kanji, he knew they were the names of they plant that was in the pots. Roll was muttering something, and was looking at all the potted plants. Then, suddenly, plants burst out of the pots and grew into large trees. They all had different leaves, shapes, everything. Only one tree stood out, because of it's pink color. Brooklyn looked at it, and then finally cleared his throat to get Roll's attention, which worked well, as she turned around, smiling. "Hi Brooklyn! Like my trees?" said Roll as she pointed behind her. She looked beyond Brooklyn for a second to see the other gargoyles looking in her direction, and she saw the amazed looks on their faces. She giggled, as Brooklyn nodded quickly, and he finally came out and spoke his mind. "Roll, I have something to ask you." said Brooklyn, blushing furiously. Roll looked at him confused. "Roll... would you go out with me tomorrow night?" asked Brooklyn, blushing harder. Roll was astonished and taken aback by this sudden question. She never expected ANYONE to ask her this. Then, after like a minute of being shocked, she began to hop up and down, smiling like there was no tomorrow. "Of course I'll go out with you! Oh my gosh! That shouldn't have to be asked, either!" said Roll excitedly. Brooklyn eye twitched. After being afraid to ask Roll out for so long, she would've gone out with him before, no questions asked. Then, he didn't care anymore, and he began to smile and walked to the balcony outside with the other gargoyles for their sleep. He waved to Roll, and before he went to sleep, he thought of what he was going to do on the date, and could only hope it would go well enough. He then turned to stone with the rest of the gargoyles, and Roll was left alone. She thought of how lucky she must be to be asked out on a date by Brooklyn, and she was happy with how she responded. She didn't scream in happiness like she thought she would if anyone asked her out. She responded cheerfully, with a hint of desire, and didn't sound desperate or self-centered. Roll finally lay down in her bed, thinking of the moment she ws asked out. Then, she fell asleep with one thought; 'This will be my happiest day ever.'
Preperations!
When Roll finally awoke, she started to get ready for her date with Brooklyn. She went and started to wonder about what she would wear. She was thinking about a Kimono, but decided against it, because she thought it made her hips look big.

Eventually, she just put on her original "shirt 'n skirt" combo. She felt better wearing those clothes and knew now, at least, that she wasn't overdressing. When she was totally satisfied with how she looked, she went out onto the balcony of the tower to wait for Brooklyn. Night was approaching faster, as she watched the sunset, and then finally disappear. Then, after the gargoyles broke their shells of stone, Brooklyn (after acknowledging that everything was ready) picked up Roll, and they said goodbye to the other gargoyles before leaving. When they left, the gargoyles wondered where they went in such a hurry, and finally, Lexington told them everything. The discussions, planning, job, money, idea, the question, and the answer to the question. Everyone chuckled at the idea of the date, and went back to their normal lives after wishing Brooklyn and Roll an enchanting night. Goliath, though, flew off to follow them in case something bad might happen. When he left, Lexington made one more wish, which was that Brooklyn and Roll would have the best date imaginable. On of the tree's that Roll had started to shake a little bit, but went unnoticed.
The park
While Brooklyn was flying with Roll, they talked about their routines, and joked about each others lives. They eventually succeeded at making their entire lives look stupid, and were thinking of ways to change their lives before it would become anymore stupid. Soon, Brooklyn landed in a lovely place in the park. It was filled with flowers, soft green grass, large oak trees, and at the center was a crystal clear lake. There, they played games like tag, and hide and seek, made more jokes, laughed and talked. They started a surprisingly enoyable conversation, that made them happier beyond all reason.
"Yeah I enjoy watching events too!" said Brooklyn, trying to impress Roll. She caught that in his voice, and said, "I believe it to be more fun if you are in the event." Brooklyn grinned and said, "Then again, Roll, you think everything is fun!" Roll began to grin herself. "I know I am you little monster!" said Roll sarcastically. They suddenly stopped when they heard a a very low sound. Roll looked around. "Did you hear that? It was like a quiet growl! What if it's a mon-" "Don't worry Roll. I'm here, and besides, it was my stomach. I'm hungry, how about you?" Said Brooklyn with a smile. Roll giggled. "I should've known. A man could never hide his hunger from the world. So, what restaurant do you have in mind to take me to?" asked Roll. Brooklyn grinned again, picked up Roll, and flew off while telling her to close her eyes. In the bushes nearby why Roll and Brooklyn were, was Goliath. He darted after them, angry that he could go no where with his relationship with Elisa.
