maybe you could make it so that people farther down the line wont win as many points from the top guy say as the top 10 might. I think maybe they should subtract your placement from the points you win or something.
So say Zing is #1 with 1000 points and n00b001 that is #200 beats zing in a match and earns half zings points which is 500 points then you can subtract his placement 200 from that and he earns 300. Now 300 points will significantly move a person from 200th placement up so if Zing lost to him again he'd lose more points the next time cause not as much would be subtracted.
Dont know, maybe hardcoded point system like 1-10 give 50 points 10-50 give 30 points 50-150 give 20 points and 150+ give 10 points. Might be easier. This way people are still rewarded for beating higher place fighters yet they dont get to be #2 easy by beating 1 guy a few times. They should have to climb the ladder same as everyone on top now.
Oh yea I still like the idea of a top 20 server, we could actually move to another one of the 5 servers when we have enough top 20 on.
