Hmm... nice topic. As a matter of fact, I do have a few things I'd like to add.

1. TYPING WITH THE CAPS LOCK ON AT ALL TIMES

There's no excuse for this. Do you have any idea how idiotic you look when you do this?

2. Not knowing the difference between "your" and "you're" (since we're on the subject of grammar).

I'm not one to nitpick everyone's grammar, but I see even some of the more intelligent posters make this mistake (even MODs).

Example: "your retarded"

Your retarded what? Your retarded dog? Your retarded mother? What?!

The correct way to say this is, "You're retarded." You're is a contraction for you are, whereas your is used strictly to imply ownership.

This is simple stuff, people. It is to grammar, what 2+2=4 is to math. What has become of our public school system, when people haven't even mastered 2nd grade grammar skills? I doubt many people around here knew the difference, anyways (before I pointed it out). But if you ever make a mistake like that on, say, a term paper for an English class in college, you should get one letter grade taken off automatically, IMO.

3. Replying to an intelligent post, which is part of a serious discussion, with worthless spam.

Example:
*insert an essay by 2000warrior here*

Reply #1: MAN THAT WAS LONG
Reply #2: i aint readin that bull sh*t
Reply #3: I agree
Reply #4: has anyone here played soul caliber 2 yet
Reply #5: WHAT
Reply #7: screw u and ur mom

.....

4. Incorrect spelling/grammar in someone's sig.

This is annoying, because you have to look at it every time he or she posts. You'd think people would put more thought into it for that very reason, but oh well...

Example:
Toon-Ryu's signature says the following:
Dont think youre the strongest. You might get suprised.

Now, with the exception of the apostrophe that's missing in the "you're," I am actually impressed that he knows the difference between your and you're (see above). However, his second sentence is quite erroneous. You might "get suprised?!" Does that even sound right? A better way to say it, is "You might be surprised," or "You might get a surprise." Note that there is clearly an r between the u and the p in surprise.

5. Replacing simple two or three letter words with one letter, number, or symbol.

Examples:

"r u ready 2 play"
"where r u @"
"let me no b4 u go"
"y r u mad"

Some people might think this is cute, cool, or whatever, but I think it's downright moronic. Is it really that hard to type words like you, are, to, too, at, before, and why? Why is it cool to be an idiot nowadays?

Well, that's about it for now. I'll post some more, if I think of them.
