2000warrior: I wish there were more people like you in the forum. But you are wrong when you say "it has fallen on deaf ears." When I see a long post like that, it actually makes this forum worth coming to, even when someone disagrees with me. On the contrary, I read every long post I see, especially when the person that posted it put some thought into it, and the subject matter is interesting.
What gets on my nerves is, when you, me, or someone else spent all that time making an intelligent post, then someone like wrestlemania comes along and kills the thread with spam, one-liners, and smileys. Or, even worse, they'll quote the entire thing and add a smiley, or say something like, "man, that was long." What's up with that? Do you people feel the need to quote everyone else because you are incapable of adding anything relevant yourself?
You're right, the powers-that-be should be able to run the forum however they see fit. All I'm saying is that none of the MODs here really do anything. If they aren't going to do anything, then what's the point of having them? Everyone is just going to do whatever they want anyways.
As far as a good idea for the ranks, I would ask that you please check out the idea in my sig. It would only change the system slightly, but I'll let you read it and (hopefully) give me some feedback.
