Sure cable can be used cheaply, but so can nearly every character in mvc2.
Yes, I do realize this. But Cable isn't good for much else besides being cheap and playing "keep away." The way he was designed as a fighter encourages it. His air combos suck, and he doesn't really have any effective anti-air moves.

Have you guys ever watched any mvc2 tournament videos?
Yes, as a matter of fact I have. This served to only strengthen my opinion of Cable, as the pros seem to resort to the same cheap game of "keep away" that the n00obs do. The only difference is, the pros are better at it.

Cable users can be beaten no matter how cheap they play.
Okay, now I never said that I thought Cable (or any other cheap character) was unbeatable. Cheap strategies can almost always be beaten (unless it involves infinite combos), but that doesn't mean that the strategy wasn't cheap.

There are countless ways of winning a game cheaply, so i dont think you should single out cable because he is commonly used in fights.
But with some characters it is extremely easy to be cheap. Cable is one of those characters, and in my opinion, that is at least part of the reason that he is so commonly used (and abused) in fights.
