I think we need button mashing, like in the arcade, when you do a super move, and you button mash(say Ryu's shinkuu hadouken for example:

shinkuu hadouken without button mashing: 25% of life,
23 hit combo

shinkuu hadouken with button mashing: 30% of your life, 28 hit combo

This can be helpful when theres so much lag, you do a shinkuu hadouken, and you beat the opponent, instead of doing it, and the opponent has 5% of life left.
