I think we are all thinking of the WRONG Barney.

Due to the AMZING AI of the your opponent in the practice mode, his was named in honor of a character found in Half-Life (see link).

While the visual resemblance is not entirely there, the essence of his behavior (in my opinion) has been duplicated quite well. Much like the original,
