the reason you cant beat a sentinel is because you are a noobie(no offence).

here is what to do with rocket punch.high jump to kick OR blow the crap out of him with a super fire ball

the dreaded 'sentinel force' is quite easy to avoid.low sentinel force JUMP. medium sentinel force DUCK OR HIGH JUMP.high sentinel force DUCK.
OR- you can change your player to sentinel or go to practice mode.
yes i have defeated a great sentinel player.
c'mon ryu is the best character yet,you should be able to kick the sentinel's butt now.
