Well to make an air combo go 100%, you have to have a good trap.
trap: getting opponents in corners, and making them stay there while beating the f*** out of them.
A good trap is for MvC1 is Strider, and CapCom...
anyways air combos:
Strider: pop them up, LP, LK, MP, MK, jump, LP, LK, MP, MK, DF LP, that'll get you like a 15 hit air combo...
If you want to play it safe with strider, then: LP, LK, MP, MK, DF LP.
Mega Man is good at infinites, this will kill n00bs: pop them up, LP, LK, HK, slide, pop them up, repeat...
Wolverine: pop them up, Lp, LK, MP, MK, drill claw, or air weapon X(your choice).
War Machine(n00b kille3r): pop them up, LP, LK, MP, MK, HP fire ball, dash, pop them up, repeat....
CapCom: his infinites are hard to do but: pop them up, call out mack the knife, jump, lp, lk, mp, mk, fire ball, dash(quickly), pop them up, repeat.
Ryu/Akuma: pop them up, lp, lk, mp, shinkuu hadouken, land, pop them up, repeat(combos wont connect, but you'll kill newbies).
Gambit: Pop them up, lp, lk, mp, mk, alu card, pop them up, repeat...
If I didn't say the other characters, it's because their combos are weak, or I just don't use them...
