NO lag isn't controllable from a technical point of view !
but there is still somethings that do make differences !
- play screen resolution (anything above default get you more lag)
- having a 56k or lower do give you more lag
- having a lower comp than a p1 500 do give you more lag (my actual machine)
only those actually does something... but even if you had them all boosted up to their max...
- best connection (dual T3)
- P4 2000+
- default play screen
you would still experience lag !
the reason, INTERNET is the whole cause of this !
your keys has to pass thru a server to be validate and resend to your screen and to the other users screen ! the time it takes to the answer to reach the server and to be back to your comp cannot be controllable since you cannot tell the packet were it should pass to be the faster and the saffer !
so even with the best comp and connection on earth you would still experience lag !
