SBYRD5, here's the real-deal:
Yu-Gi-Oh! is about a card game called Duel Monsters, based on a game made in ancient egypt (except that in egypt, they used actual monsters and not cards). Seto-Kaiba is the world's second-best duelist (he's never been defeated), and he fights Yugi's grandfather for the best monster card in the world- Blue Eyes White Dragon (there are only four in the entire world). Yugi arrives when his grandfather is beaten, and sees Kaiba. Kaiba rips up the Blue Eyes card, saying that now it can't be used against him. Yugi fights Kaiba, and Kaiba reveals that he owns the other three. Yugi is about to lose, but he pulls off a combo that has never in history been executed -- he successfully casts all five parts of Exodia the Forbidden One, and automatically wins the game.
Yugi then recieves a VHS tape from Maxamillion Pegasus, the creator of Duel Monsters. Pegasus is undefeated, and owns a piece of the Millenium Puzzle, an artifact comprised of seven pieces. Yugi also owns one, as does his friend Bakura. Pegasus' puzzle piece allows him to see his opponent's cards, and that is why he is undefeated.
A lot more stuff happens, and somehow Pegasus uses his puzzle to steal Yugi's Grandpa's soul. He also kidnaps Kaiba's little brother, and holds a tournament on his island. The winner of the tournament gets to face Pegasus himself. Yugi wants his grandfather's soul back, Kaiba wants his brother back. Who will win? Dun dun dun!
