MORAL OF THE STORY.

Look both ways, when you see a car about to hit you, don't freeze, pavement is not your friend (when you get hit by a car) and sue the pants off the guy (or girl) that hit you.

Not Morals:

What kind of a car was it? Did you get the plate number?

Also, blocking a cast doesn't hurt much if you block it with your hand.
