But it's the concensus. Text books, hsitory books, and the entire basis of society is not based on christianity, and it's all taught the belief that we weren't made out of clay, or however the bible says we were made, but we were made a really, really long time ago.

If it wasn't the concensus ask your teacher why you don't learn creationism.
