ost_uid14]Hello, and welcome to the registration thread of this years GPUT4. In order to apply for the tournament you will need to leave your IGN (in game name), AIM screen name, MSN, email, and what division you would like to attend. Please remeber when all of the slots for a division are filled up there will be no exceptions to get in, so you will have to join another division or dont enter at all.

-Whats GPUT?-

Whats the GPUT you ask? Well the GPUT is short for Grand Prix Users Tournament. It was the first division based tournament that was successful. It was so successful that I decided to continue the series. As far as I can see it is the only old tournament that is still going.

-Whats new to this years GPUT?-

Well a number of things are new to this year's GPUT. First, we will have new players that are hungry for some fame and glory. But not only that we have two more divsions. The Sakura division, and an Evil RYu division in honor for the VIP's and new character Sakura. Also when all of the division champs have been decided they will fight each other in a 9 round small tournament to decide the 1st ever Champ of Champs GPUT winner.

-THe Honor Role-
Before I explain the rules of the tournament, I want you all to give a round of aplaud to everyone who ever won a division, and for everyone who ever helped me out with this tournament.

KidKrazyshit - Advertising past tournaments at Senshuk and helping me out in numerous of ways.
Dark Masta - GPUT2 chun-li division winner. Advertising at battle grounds and helping me out in numerous of ways.
Virtual Fighter - Designing wall papers of GPUT3.
Evil Akuma - Desigining banners of GPUT3, and 4 and for helping me out in numerous of ways.
GirlNferno666 - FOr helping me out in numerous of ways.
Chicken_WIng - GPUT2 and 3 Sentinal Division winner.
Dichelle - GPUT2 Spider-man Division winner.
Eyo - GPUT2 Wolverine Division winner.
Asrbwettaw - GPUT2 Ryu Division winner.
Pip99 - GPUT3 Wolverine Division winner.
King of ken - GPUT3 SPider-Man Division winner.
Restavega - GPUT3 Akuma Division winner.

-Rules-
For each selected character in the game there will be a divison for that character. The maxium for registrations per divison for this year is 20. When all of the spots are taken up then you must enter another divison or do not play at all. You can only enter ONE divison per tournament (if your a VIP and you wich to enter that division then you may also enter another division, the evil ryu division is just a bonus.) and you may only use the character divsion you signed up for.

example: Dark-Guardian signs up for chun-li. He may only use chun-li in the tournament. If he chooses someone else then he will be disqualified. (opponent must take a screen shot to prove he did not pick chun-li).

After the registrations are over then the matches will be made. You will play the person you are paired up with in a:

1on1 no tag

helpers on

timer off

best out of three match

No vip perks

If you get onslaught you are welcome to play the match, but the result wont count.

The person on the left will host first then you take turns hosting. If you loose best out of three then you are disqualified from the tournament and the winner moves on to the next round.

Dont complain about your opponent's lag. Theres nothing I can do to about that.

Vip perks off/no rage factors allowed. (Only E.Ryu will be allowed, and thats in the E.Ryu division)
