there are at least 14 specificly named witnesses who saw him after he was dead and buried.

- Christianity/Religion was done once, and never "tweaked" or "re-written".
the Bible doesnt need to be rewritten or edited because its perfect....in fact, if you try to take or add to it you are promised plauges and death.
Quote:
- History/Science has research and evidense to back up all they claim
history and science are based on observation....fine! fantastic!
well how come historians and scientists wont accept the Bible as a factual piece of observation, yet they believe Homer's observations of ancient greece.
and another thing: the odessy by Homer talks about like adventures of Ulysses and wars and stuff.....and historians believe it.
but when the book talks about cyclops's and dragons and such, they wont believe that part.....its gay how people pick and choose pieces of what they do and do not want to believe.
Quote:
- Christianity/Religion is taught in religous schools where they hit you and try to make you believe the same ol same ol.
the books of Pslams, Proverbs, and Song of Solomon are very well written books of poetry....I see no reason why they arent in a public school's classic lit class.
Quote:
"I'm going to heaven, he's going to hell... for a reason. I must be better than him."
according to all religions besides the Bible.
all other religions have you get to heaven by "being good" and works....so people who do the works, are "better than you"
but the Bible says you just accept the gift and thats it....no good works, no nothing.......so there is equality.

The church also said the world was flat and the sun revolved around the earth, and that took thousands of years to finnaly disprove. Maybe the ideas on what and how the earth was formed are faulty?
the roman catholic church said that, and they killed you if you said otherwise.
there is a verse somewhere (gotta find it) that talks about the roundness of the earth
Quote:
If the church doesn't judge people, where are they getting the notion that so and so is evil?
the churches that are judging people are in the wrong, because its not their responsibility.
