[quoteost_uid0="marvel911"]Unfortunately for me, I did see this "movie" even though I said I wouldnt. However, it was beneficial that I did not pay to see it, but rather watched a downloaded version my friend had, mainly because I would have wasted my money.

This film is far from fantastic in every aspect. Naturally it's the first 'Fantastic 4' film, and hopefully the last. Being it's the first they explain everything about how they get their powers, and what their powers can do..pretty much for the entire film. Now call me old-fashioned, but it would seem like if your entire existence changed, and you now had a superpower, such as you could "burn at supernova temperatures" or you were a rip-off of stretch armstrong, then you would probably become excited and be amazed by your powers as well as be curious and full of mystery. Well, that would probably happen in any other film except this one, because these people dont seem to care that they're completely different, its as if its no big deal to them. It's like "Oh, would ya look at that, I can now turn invisible, Hmm, nifty. Whatever, what's on Dr. Phil"

So unless your a hardcore fanboy like Karma who confuses himself so much that he is capable of seeing a good film through the tunnels of crap, then avoid this movie.
If your looking for a superhero film, go watch Batman Begins, at least it tells a logical story and ties everything together at the end.

well not really, they did show a bit of awe with their fantastic changes but yeah, its too weak, not enough
they shouldve shown more astonishments, confuse and trouble
with what happened to their bodies

what disappoints me is von doom
hes motivation to be a badass antagonist isnt enough
writers gave him poor plot/background motivation
id say, hes not even close to whats in the comic book

if my recollection is correct, hes just an ordinary, horribly disfigured and wearing a thermonuclear-powered suit of armor that renders him powerful but not THAT tin man whose body transformed to some sort of alloy...id say, the dr. doom character is WEAK, poor background

but i do love how they utilized their powers right at the ending
but still...i almost said..."thats it?

one last thing...how the heck the human torch know hes after by that heat-seeking missile? i mean with that kinda distance?
hes not even sure of that missile type even if he guessed its a missle....

but i agree with you with the batman movie
