If god has a "plan" for us, he knows what we're going to do and has our destiny written. So whatever we choose, it's not because we choose it, it's because god chose it for us. So really, do whatever you want, it's not you doing it, it's god's desitny for you.

And no, i'm in no way church going, but this ill-bred sense of logic seems most popular around justifying one's actions for whatever reason.

Yeah, the people who don't want to get shot in the head are hypocrites, but the priests who rape little boys aren't talked about.
