Not technically true....I have a firewall...and i get that message...i just try a 2nd time...and i'm in.

His computer might not've connected to the game's authentication server (which has the login info...)

also...a way to tell if you're connected to the game's server, is if you can see the news box the comes up when you open the game....if you can't see that...then you likely didn't connect.
