I had a similar problem with my USB mouse. But with mine, the mouse would stop responding and no power would go to the mouse. It was like that for a week or so, but it's fine now

For your lil problem. I think there could be a connection problem with your mouse. Or it could be just a "getting old" (which i probably doubt depending on how long you had it).

Get some more opinions before you do anything.
