asshole, i agree with the modchip thing, breaking copyrights are so wrong so i can't blame them for trying to stop those modchips guys !

but let's say this, if i want to mod my own XBOX by myself. can i ?
for the answer is no, because openning the hood of the console is against the law and they would sue you for doing so.
what they also want is for those gamers to just buy the games and play and not try to create their own games for the consoles.

a good example of it would be this one...
the INTEL PALADIUM !
its the same concept.
one chip with everything integrated and that cannot be manipulated except by them so you are forced to do what THEY want you to do with your COMPUTER !
same goes for the XBOX itself, what they want is to reduce you to a slave of their console as in you can't do much besides having it plugged to your TV and play on it with the games you will have BOUGHT at a 80$ per games !

its a stupid concept !
you can't force someone to do what you want just because you sold them the console !
also, what they are discussing in the article is the fact that when you buy the console is it you buy it for real or are you paying for the right to play it ! what they say is that it isn't the same ! thus when you buy the console you don't own it, they still do but you have the right to play it at home for as long as you want and as long as you don't modify it or do not try to do anything else then play the games they sold you !

see their thing is all messed up, the thing is when you buy something then its no more to them thus you can do whatever you want with it !
if hackers exists its their problems not yours.
if someone tells me his mod chips is better because it ables me to do this and that betterly on the console, its my choice not theirs they can't blame me for trying to better my gameplay. as simple as that.
