How about this... all you losers out there complaining about being forced to pick a wrong character because you were waiting to see who your opponent picks should stop caring so much about a rediculous online game. When the character select screen comes up, pick who you want, it takes 2 seconds (a gross exaggeration).
If you don't play sfo that much it isn't a big deal for you. If you don't like the game, i wonder why you at this forum.
Anyways i want to see who my opponent is picking them so i can counter that character with some one strong agisnt that character.
For example My oponent picks "sentinal" then i can counter with "ken".

loser.
You completely missed the messege of my post. Your game plan starts with stacking the odds before the fight even begins, which is rather cheap if you ask me (actually it doesn't matter if you ask me, it's still cheap). Having a timer would only create a greater opportunity for people to get an unfair advantage by "countering" the opponents character. Having an unseen timer, like have now, encourages the selection of preferred characters rather than strategic choices. The only time you would want to have any kind of character strategy is in a clan battle and/or tournament when you know who your opponent likes to use.
That still happened in sfo,Even with out a timer (showing) people do it. All i am saying put a timer that shows how much time is left so you don't get caught with a character you don't want.
