This is the Dreamcast Controller. It spawned from another idea.
Question:
What inspired this controller design?

Rules:
First to answer correctly. 2 part question. I want a description and a picture (You don't need to post the picture, just a link would be fine).

Depending on if it's answerd or not, I will supply a hint and/or be able to create another question out of it.
