Of course Herbal medicines are good. They rarely involve side effects. It would even sometimes lead one to believe that the side effects the drugs have are just a way of making you come back to the hospital to get some drug or the other for THAT side effect.
but you could use that same theory for herbal medicine aswell, despite having taken it and curing what ever problem they person had, it could leave them with a new problem, such as a body reaction to the herbal medicine itself or even a skin reaction, which could end up breaking out into a very bad skin reaction where it would have to be treated by most probably a prescribed cream, or a chemically developed cream

And certain herbs as Abdoun back has said can have pretty bad side effects
