both nferno and karma are right...
the chat/connection/encryption protocols changed when the 128 bit encryption was added... as were the server names/addresses
... i have the old versions.. that is not a problem.. but if you were to load one of them up... two things would happen: 1: the version would not know any of the new chat server names/addresses ... and 2: even if the game knew where to connect... once there, it would not be able to authenticate/talk to the main/chat server.
so, what i'd have to do is load up the code of the version 0.1a (or whatever it was)... and "convert" it to use the protocols and the encryption of SFO today...
which is.. quite a bit of work... (about same amount as making a new character)
