yeah, all im saying is that christmas is a judeao christian holiday, and a small minority is trying to change the name of it....

I just wanted to see how the members of this community feel about it.

You're only saying that because its the time when YOUR god was supposedly born

ok, it wasnt God that was born......it was Jesus, God's son.

and christmas isnt just celebrating the day (whenever it was) that Jesus was born.....its celebrating the fact that God sent his only son to save the world.

now, imagine being jewish, and some people start saying that you cant call it a minora anymore, but it now needs to be called a "holiday candlestick" because it offends people........not cool

there WAS no story because there WAS no christmas tree.

well, Ive always made the connection of the pine tree, and the tree (whatever kind it was) that Jesus died on 34 years later.

not quite sure what the significance is....mabey just tradition

if this was really a time to celebrate the birth of christ, we wopuld do just that, we would all go to church.

well, the attendance at my church is alot higher around christmas........dunno where you got that from
