In the Tournament section of this form. Troy88 mentioned good reasons for having a weekly mini tournaments. one is getting rid of noobie killers being on top, and the second is having a good challenge. Seeing whos the best at THAT moment..

If you have ever been in the top 3 like myself. You will know how hard it is to keep that rank. The only people that you can fight are the other 2 that is above you, but odds are you, You will hardly ever see them. let alone fight them. So all the while you are stuck having to fight noobies. Basically, you have to play EVERY SINGLE DAY and fight endless amounts of noobies to hold your position, while people who are like ranked 100 can shoot up to rank 5 or something with just 3 fights.
Also, this gives people who dont or can't play everyday because of school or a job. but have true skills. an opprotunity to gain fast points. instead of working his way up by fighting noobies.

And another thing... this would be a GREAT BREAK from the day to day fights. I mean, you come in the room and challenge theh same people over and over again and you would either wins some or lose some matches. but these matches dont hold any kind of weight.. i mean a lost would just mean 10pts,and you would just ask the guy for the rematch - nothing really significant. But a lost in a tournament is different. I remember being in the last tournament and losing a match, i almost felt like crying. and man, that match seemed like the most IMPORTNANT thing in my life at that moment.I got such a high.. i want that feeling again.

BTW. this post will be in the tournament section as well.
