I have a cable modem, its a type of internet source. It connects as if it were cable to your television but instead to a little box. Since I have comcast cable it's a little black box. This box has wiring which connects to the pc and the cable source. Sometimes if you have to much "wiring" it doesn't work. For example if you have about 4 t.v's with cable, it sometimes doesn't reach the pc.
Even though cable is the fastest, it has several problems as well, but alot of benefits.
