no, but siriously, its like the best book ever. and easy to understand, too. no hard words, or anything like that.

it really brings a tear to my eye to read about how peaceful, and beautiful the Mandinkas (Kunta's tribe) lived, and what terrible things the white man did.

the span of this book is humungous. He cramms 250 years into this book, which is a whole lot. He fits in before america was even a countrie, and all the family kunta spawned. which is awsome, because alex haley (the auther) could basically say that al his family was started by this one man, kunta kinte, because the rest of kunta's family is still in africa.
