You don't have to be a VIP. There's a code you use to get onslaught. It's easy, and simple. Just go in a 2on1 game, and use the helper code (hulk). You should get onslaught by doing this. There's also another method, this one is also simple. Go into a quick game, and use the hulk helper code, as I said above.
